To make my lovely Sony WM-3 Walkman a gift to its 40th birthday I bought one of this cheap “MMC Cassette SD MP3 Player Analogous Digital Adapter Kit” from China. In the beginning, it gave some trouble with the pinch roller and the Walkman stopped seconds after I pushed the play button. So I opened the housing and thrown out some internal stuff. Bingo. It really really have nothing from the sound quality of my AK100II but for the price of a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese Meal it is great fun.

Um meinem geliebten Sony WM-3 Walkman zu seinem 40. Geburtstag ein Geschenk zu machen, habe ich mir eines dieser günstigen “MMC Kassetten SD MP3 Player Analog Digital Adapter” aus China besorgt. Am Anfang gab es einige Probleme mit der Andruckrolle und der Walkman stoppte Sekunden nachdem ich den Abspielknopf gedrückt hatte. Also öffnete ich das Gehäuse und warf ein paar interne Bauteile raus. Bingo. Es hat so was von wirklich nichts von der Klangqualität meines AK100II, aber für den Preis eines Double Quarter Pounder mit Käse Menüs ist es ein großen Spaß.
